|The emeters Cycling Jersey by narifuri now on Sale in Response to Demand from Users of the emeters Cycling SNS|
Cycle Co., Ltd. (President: Yuji Takeuchi) will release on sale on August
25 the emeters cycling jersey conceived from the
emeters SNS service,
a website providing user interaction, and based on special emeters cycling
data in collaboration with the brand of casual cycling clothing, narifuri.
The emeters is a service that incorporates special cycling meters that enable cycling data to be recorded together with a cycling SNS on a website, which was started up in March 2008 as an epoch-making attempt to integrate both hardware and software in the field of cycling.
The site allows graphs based on daily cycling distances to be displayed within the SNS as well as enabling users to interact via their own traveling graphs, dairies and communities. With more than ten-thousand members registered, it is the nation's largest SNS for cyclists. The emeters cycling jersey was developed in response to demand from the users of this SNS. Interaction between users is extremely brisk on the emeters SNS, and off-line meetings, in which members who have become acquainted on the SNS actually meet up at cycling meetings and other venues, are frequently held. The interaction between these users led to a consensus indicating that they wanted a jersey to identify themselves as emeters users at external events resulted in this jersey being produced. In more detail, we came up with a cycling jersey on which green dots, the symbolic color of emeters, are laid on a cool gray background. The material used for the jersey is equipped with a quick-drying [cool mode], with which absorbed perspiration is rapidly evaporated. The characteristic weave of the material also releases all heat vapor generated from the evaporation of moisture to ensure that the user's skin temperature remains low. The jersey also boasts all functions required for racing, including a slip stopper on the back. The jersey was produced in collaboration with narifuri, a brand of casual cycling clothing, and is accented with narifuri's lime-green pedal logo and the emeters leaf logo. It comes in easy-fit sizes that appear slightly loose-bodied in silhouette.
