Cycle Co., Ltd. (president: Keiji Watanabe) upgraded the Assista
Stila L motor-assisted bicycle, which has been highly-acclaimed by women
in their thirties amidst the ever-growing motor-assistant bicycle field,
and released the new edition on March 25. The use of lithium ion batteries
in these bicycles has been attributed with making them easier to ride
and increasing performance, and sales have enjoyed double-digit growth
for four consecutive years.
The new model combines a fashionable new design aimed at women in their thirties, and functions that include newly-developed parts to improve practicability.
Features of the Assista Stila L
1.Uses the lithium ion battery 4.0 with improved capacity.
1)The capacity of the lithium ion battery has been increased to 4.0Ah (conventionally 3.7Ah.) This provides 35% additional distance when used in the standard Auto Eco Plus mode. Total distance available from a single charge expanded from 48km to 65km.
2)The battery box maintains the same shape to provide compatibility with the previous models.
3)It is possible to recharge only the amount of power that has been consumed to reduce recharging times.
4)The use of the stand-type recharger means that it is less bothersome and only needs to be situated in place in the same way as a mobile telephone.
2.Uses "Merihari Assist"(the new Modulated Assistance mode) and the Auto Eco Plus mode.
1)"Merihari Assist"(the new Modulated Assistance mode) was developed to increase distance over the standard mode and provide more power when riding up inclines. The Assistance Feeling sensibility when pedaling has also been improved.
2)The Auto Eco Plus mode has improved on the normal Auto Eco mode by making the switch-over smoother.
3)The use of a magnetostrictive torque sensor enables light and easy pedaling when the power is switched off.

1)A strong and fashionable pipe carrier to which child seats can be attached.
2)"New Temotode Lock II" enables the handlebars to be locked and released in the most natural manner without having to take the hands off the handlebars.
3)"New Rakuraku wide stand II"(The New Easy Wide Stand II) has greater breadth to prevent the bicycle from falling over, and it can be operated with a simple touch of the foot to avoid unstableness when parking.
4.Equipped with a White Flash Battery Lamp that uses a bright 0.5W-LED.
1)Located in the center of the F carrier, these LEDs have safety specifications that provide high visibility by shining on both sides when riding on roads.
2)Equipped with a safe battery light system that enables the battery lamp to be illuminated even when the assistance switch is switched off.
